This car is sold
excellently documented and great history!
The Swedish classic was first registered in 1968 in Houston Texas and changed hands there after winning a poker game. The owner sold the Volvo in 1986 to Mr. T. According to a detailed documentation, which is enclosed with the documents, the Volvo was in a moderate condition at that time and the engine did not run. The interior had been damaged by the sun and the car had some rust. All in all, however, the car was complete and had only been sitting around unused for a period of time. The owner at the time started to make the car roadworthy again and listed in detail all the work and repairs from 1986 to 2019. You could say the car was fully restored and rebuilt over decades and several residences. Ultimately, the Volvo was delivered to Rotterdam in June 2019 via Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada to the current owner in Belgium. This owner has also kept and documented all invoices, records and documents. We have a complete history from the purchase in 1986. All invoices that have been incurred since then, all bodywork and technical work are listed and documented.
Such extensive detailed documentation over such a long period of time is now rarely seen. A Volvo that has always been in the right enthusiast's hands and is now looking for a new owner.
