Original condition with patina! First Hand!
On 17.09.1975, a gentleman in Greece registered this Toyota near Thessaloniki. He used the vehicle as a small pick-up truck should and remained loyal to the blue Hilux until 2023. In that year, the robust vehicle came to Germany and only had this one owner from Greece for the last 50 years. The owner at the time was more of a fan of functionality and always carried out all technically relevant inspections. The owner apparently paid less attention to the appearance and so the Hilux was exposed to the very pleasantly warm and dry climate in southern Europe. Only when the vehicle arrived here in Germany was the underbody blasted with dry ice. Despite the extreme patina, the entire car turned out to be rust-free and was then completely sealed. After a cure, the surface was coated with rust converter and OVATROL oil. This means that the current patina is now permanently sealed. Technically, the Hilux is in a completely serviceable condition. Relevant chassis parts and the complete brake system were overhauled as part of the classic car MOT inspection. An engine service was carried out and the Hilux also received German approval with the first TÜV inspection. The supply of parts for these Toyota pick-up vehicles is generally not a problem. The Hilux model was offered worldwide back then as well as today and the old ones are still being used. We have all the documents relating to the vehicle, the original service book, original vehicle documents from Greece and all relevant MOT and acceptance documents.
Visually an eye-catcher in every respect. The patination on the vehicle means that the history is literally recognizable and the professional sealing protects this unique look from fading. Technically, the Toyota Hilux models are and have always been very popular commercial vehicles. The robust construction and reliable engines have made a name for themselves worldwide.
