Description

This Siata Daina Grand Sport Barchetta Type A is one of only 200 cars of this type produced. Siata was already a tuning company of Fiat since 1926. The Daina Grand Sport was based on the Fiat 1400 and was offered as a coupe or convertible. According to Siata - Register there should be at present still approx. 50 pieces. For the American market, the models were also offered with a V8 engine on request. In 1984 the car went to Ohio and was sold to Hollywood in 1997. In 2007, the Siata came to Germany for the first time and changed hands there 2 years later. In 2014 the car came to England and was extensively restored there on a good basis. In 2015 and 2016 the Siata participated in the Mille Miglia and came back to Germany in 2018. Taking into account the technical and optical condition, the equipment and the market situation, the car was estimated in Germany in 2018 by the company Classic Data GmbH at a replacement value of 365,000€.

Conclusion

A rarity that does not exist a second time. Technically and visually in fantastic condition. The entire history is well documented. Two full boxes of documents, pictures, certificates and appraisals are available since the year of construction.
