Description

This nippy Frenchman was first sold to a car dealership in July 1986 and was part of a collection during this time. The next previous owner kept the Peugeot until 2005, when the current owner became aware of the 205 and bought the GTI in a similar condition to a year-old car. The vehicle has remained accident-free ever since and has only been driven on red 07 numbers since 2019. Only both side skirts were repainted at some point before 2005. The current owner made sure that the GTI was not exposed to rain or winter and did not cause any damage and therefore only drove the vehicle on 4 longer trips per year in good weather. After the purchase in 2005, a sealant was applied and the timing belt was changed in 2018 at a mileage of 80,200 km. All service intervals and repairs have always been meticulously observed. The last oil change was in September 2023 at mileage 80,700.

Normally, the steering wheel on the early models is not leather-covered. The owner therefore bought another original steering wheel, had it covered with leather and replaced it with the “naked” steering wheel. This is, of course, included with the purchase. The current owner also had rear metal wheels fitted with slightly wider tires and lowered the Peugeot slightly with Eibach springs. The conversions with rims, tires, adaptation track plates and springs are of course TÜV-registered and leave no questions unanswered.
