Only by pure coincidence we learned about this exceptional Opel Kadett B Coupé, which not only looks like a new vehicle, but actually shows an impressive condition. The paint, the absolutely intact interior, the entire underbody, the chassis and the drivetrain look almost like the first day and we have a German Corvette & Opel dealership to thank for this. In this the vehicle stood for many years, fully registered, on a heated floor plate and delighted as a visual highlight the visitors of this dealership. Every two years, the coupe was presented for TÜV inspection and brought back to the showroom. The old letter, the original service booklet, the Kadett owner's manual and both sets of car keys are still present. Every light works and when driving the automatic transmission surprises with such smooth gear changes that you think you are sitting in a luxury sedan. The Opels from this era shaped the streetscape of all of us and they have now almost completely disappeared from the scene. The pleasant appearance of this series and the so familiar but forgotten seat comfort let even us as dealers think back to the past days.
