Description
We offer for sale a Nissan 280 ZXT with original 56,098 km, for sale. The vehicle was registered in Germany in October 1982 and was owned by a collector and enthusiast from 1988 to 2021. From 2011 the vehicle stood deregistered in a garage.
At the end of 2021 the Nissan came to the current owner. The owner had the vehicle optically refurbished as far as necessary. New tires, brake discs and pads were also added. The Nissan presents itself as seen in the photos in excellent original condition (the only visible deviation for the model connoisseur is the air intake in the hood on the driver's side, which comes from the model 81), and is one of the few models of the 280zx registered in Germany, which already have a regulated 3-way catalytic converter. After reconditioning, an appraisal was prepared for the insurance company in June 2022 with a speedometer reading of 54300 km, the condition was described as "Good condition, free of defects but with slight signs of use (Classic Data)" and the current replacement value was rated at € 29,000.
The vehicle was registered with H-plates and was in winter 22/23 in a garage. The vehicle is of course ready to drive and technically and visually unchanged. Since the appraisal only 1300 km were covered without any abnormalities. Due to space and time constraints, the owner would like to part with the Nissan.
Conclusion
Actually the Datsun 280 ZX presented in 1978 was already a retro car at that time. Especially the long hood, the flat nose in the style of the Alfa Romeo Spider as well as the gently curved side line were from the sixties. At 4.5 meters in length and 2.8 liters in displacement, the Datsun 280 ZXT fills the gap between the Ford Capri and the Mercedes SL and remains a true gentleman's sports car with a smart six-cylinder engine.
