perfectly restored condition!
The Mercedes-Benz W 105, better known as Mercedes-Benz 219, with its six-cylinder engine was a sedan model of the upper class of Daimler-Benz in the years 1956 to 1959. The great-grandfather of the S-Class series, so to speak. This pontoon was imported from Sweden in 2010 and very extensively restored. Already in 2014, the car was chemically stripped and derusted after a complete disassembly, welded, derusted again and then the body, hoods and doors were KTL coated. The engine, rear axle, fuel tank and heater and engine radiator have been overhauled. After the Mercedes Benz was completed, a Classic Data full appraisal was done in 2016, where the pontoon was rated a 1+. The entire brake system, as well as the axles and steering, were without defects and in new condition at the time of the appraisal. The interior is also clean and well-maintained and is at least equivalent to new condition. The restoration work is well documented with numerous photos and all invoices and is of course included with the vehicle.
If you are looking for a piece of automotive history and want to drive this pontoon on a full-length bench seat like in the 50s, please contact us and do not miss the chance to roll over the streets in a stylish star.
