This white D Super 5 was first registered in Italy in 1972 and came to Germany in 2019. The car was then offered for sale at Real Auto GmbH in Schweinfurt in the same year. The current owner acquired the vehicle in November 2019 with a read speedometer reading of 2305 km. To date, the D Super 5 has only rarely been moved and has gained a leisurely 3000 km in the last 4 years.
A car that has gone 20 years without a successor is either way ahead of its time or simply timelessly beautiful. Both are true of the Citroën DS models. Their revolutionary technology and design has advanced the whole of automotive engineering. It has influenced an entire generation of modern cars and given direction to technical progress, for which it has been recognized worldwide. From 1972, the D Super 5 models were built on the DS platform. These were more simply equipped than the luxury versions, but offered the same revolutionary technology inside.
