Restored condition! One of 2255 build cars!
A real rarity with only around 2,300 examples built! The unmistakable sound of the six-cylinder in-line engine, equipped with a triple ‘Deil Orto’ twin carburettor, emphasises the elegant sportiness of an Alfa Romeo. This Spider fulfils the highest standards of originality with the greatest luxury of the time and was advertised at the time with the words ‘powerful, of great class and high prestige’ and was long regarded as the Maserati of the little man.
This Spider was delivered to the USA in 1964. Having been with its last owner on the East Coast since 1975, the Alfa came to Europe in 2010. Here, the car underwent a full expert restoration, which was carried out with great attention to detail. After the restoration, the vehicle then came to Germany and was sold to a collector in Bremen in 2015. The Touring Spider finally passed to its current owner a year later. He took part in the Concours d'Elegance at Schloss Bensberg by invitation in 2016. It also took part in the Silvretta Classic in 2016 and 2018.
We have all the documents and photos of the restoration. US title and proof of registration, as well as all German documents are of course available.
